Happy March! (+ ideas for your weekend)

Can’t believe we’re at the first of March already!  This year has been flying by fast.  With the great weather we’re expecting to get, I’m looking forward to a low-key weekend and enjoying a few favorite activities: morning hike, brunch outdoors, catching up with friends over dinner and drinks.

What are you all up to this weekend?  Here are some fun ideas:


Refresh your mani/pedi (pastels and whites are so in now)



Try a new smoothie recipe (like this yummy banana and kiwi one)


  • banana, peeled and cut into chunks
  • kiwi fruit, peeled and sliced (about 1/2 cup)
  • cup low-fat yogurt
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • teaspoons maple syrup, optional

Combine all of the banana, kiwi, yogurt, ice, and syrup in a blender and whir together until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.


Buy a new throw pillow and change up your couch decor

Go on an impromptu day trip (read: roadt trip!) to a new destination
