A little over a week ago, I co-hosted a baby shower for my wonderful college friend, Susan, who is having a baby girl. It was held in her gorgeous and lush backyard and as you can see, the theme was “Baby-Q”. Susan loves farm animals so we tried to incorporate animals into the decor (how cute are those goody-bags?) . The expecting couple also love to travel so we had a framed picture of the Eiffel Tower (in pink of course) and asked all the guests to sign the ‘guestbook’. It makes for a perfect addition to the baby girl’s nursery. All in all, a sweet and fun afternoon celebrating Susan, her husband, and the arrival of their baby.
I recently discovered a Parisian-inspired line called Maison Jules (exclusively sold at Macy’s) and just love the entire collection, especially the dresses. They recently had a big summer sale and I scooped up several of the dresses including the pink gingham maxi dress above. I love it when I discover a new brand and fall in love with everything. Fall items are in stock now so away we go shopping!
