Since the start of my second trimester, I was already out-sizing my normal clothes and needing to buy maternity clothes. Buying new additions to the wardrobe was definitely exciting, after all, who doesn’t love to shop for something new? However, I soon realized that maternity clothing just isn’t as chic as normal clothing and I wasn’t about to spend a fortune on an entire new wardrobe. My strategy? Accessorize, accessorize! I love the Tiffany Atlas Collection and was super excited to receive this round pendant necklace for Christmas this year. It’s understated, yet elegant, and adds the right touch of sparkle to an outfit. Whether you’re out strolling under the sun or walking through colder temperatures, it’s a delicate, statement necklace for any outfit. I also like to layer it with longer necklaces as seen below.
I also have a smaller version of the Atlas round pendant necklace — it’s not on Tiffany’s site any more — but would look great layered with the large pendant as well.

Tiffany & Co. Atlas Round Pendant Necklace
I’m headed to LA this weekend to celebrate Christmas with the family. I’ve been waiting patiently for this trip yet have already begun packing! Since I will be spending much needed play time with four nieces (three of them are triplets!) I will be keeping the outfits comfortable and casual. For fun and since it is the holidays, I will be throwing in a few accessories into the mix. The A-thread necklace has been on repeat this month, because, well, it’s such a pretty statement piece! I love this Gorjana wrap bracelet (sold out for now, but check their website here). It is super chic and versatile. The Baublebar jewelry and Coach purse are brand new so check back to see how I will be styling them!
Hope y’all have a wonderful holiday and spend lots of quality time with family and friends! I will be posting tomorrow, but will be taking a break on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Have a happy Friday!
This week has been all about gift guides. I hope you enjoyed reading the posts and found some things you liked for your holiday checklist! Next week I’ll focus on the essentials of throwing a holiday party from menus to decor to what to wear as a hostess and as a guest. In the meantime, here are some favorite accessory links from this week.

One way I like to accessorize a monochromatic look is with a colorful statement necklace. It instantly adds a pop of color and also pulls together your look. Whether you’re going for classic business attire or a fun, flirty going-out outfit, there are many options out there to choose from. Here are some recent finds from A-Thread, a Los-Angeles based company owned by a sibling duo.
How do you like to accessorize?
Been doing some fall wardrobe shopping lately and one of the best ways to update a work or going out/weekend outfit is to accessorize, accessorize, accessorize! Been craving some chic arm swag and found some inspirational pieces. Looks like I’ll be doing some damage to the wallet pretty soon…

Which one(s) should I get?!
Ever since I received this Swatch watch as a gift, I’ve been back to my nearest Swatch store (Palo Alto) many times to see what other styles they’ve got. The swatch I’m wearing in this photo is the 2012 Spring/Summer Lady Original collection. The color is a light mint color (called ‘mint leave’ on the Swatch site). How great is this watch? Makes a chic statement all on its own.
Check out this one and others on the Official Swatch website!
