I’m about a week away from my due date so it’s just a waiting game right now. Running out of clothes to wear soon! I’ve been working from home all week (which keeps me busy), and putting on the final touches to the nursery. I’m feeling excited and scared at the same time, but so looking forward to meeting this little guy!
Happy Monday! As you can see the baby bump is growing larger than ever. I’ve been drawn to wearing neutral colors these days, especially gray. Funny, because the baby’s nursery is mostly white and gray as well. Guess it’s the color of the moment for me. Can’t believe we are at almost 35 weeks! Have a great week!
Dress – ASOS Maternity (old) / Shoes – Tod’s (yellow version, seriously the most comfortable flats on the planet) / Bag – BCBG Maxazria (old, love this clutch) / Sunglasses – Prada / Necklaces – Tiffany Atlas & J.Crew
We are officially in the single digits in this pregnancy countdown! How time flies. We had a cold front most of last week so I pulled out this cape to wear during a stroll in downtown San Francisco. It was the perfect ‘coat’ keeping me warm the whole day and sure felt like I had a blanket on. Capes have been a trend this fall and winter and I love how it’s a stylish alternative to a long winter coat. As I grow bigger in the belly area, there are few things left that I feel comfortable in…this cape is a keeper!
I hope all of you are having a great week so far. It’s ramping up to be a busy one for me – such is the holiday time crunch! These photos were taken during our last days in LA in one of my favorite spots, Santa Monica. There’s no trip to LA without a stop into one of my favorite cafes, Demitasse, and a walk down 3rd Street Promenade. We usually end our day with a cocktail at the Huntley Hotel, but that will have to wait until next time.
Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by the blog!
I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and long weekend to unwind and relax with family and friends. Can you believe we are in a brand new month already? It will be Christmas soon in three weeks!
We took advantage of the long weekend to spend some time in Southern California with family and friends. With the great weather in California, we filled our days with outdoors-y activities – swimming (yes, it was 80+ for two days), biking, visiting museums, etc. It felt so good to close the laptop for a few days.
Now that we’re back, I feel refreshed to begin another busy work week. I did catch a small cold over the weekend so I’ll be drinking up on fluids and getting myself back to normal.
Have a great start to your week!
My changing body is quite obvious now and each day I seem to grow just a bit bigger in the belly area. Can’t believe we are at 25 weeks, almost 26! While time seems to go by very fast, part of me is ready to meet this little fella and get to know him.
This is a short week for most of us and tomorrow we are heading down to LA for the rest of the holiday week. I’m usually not a fan of road trips, but am looking forward to it this time. In my current nesting mode, a nice, peaceful ride seems more enjoyable than rushing through busy airports this week. The weather in LA? (or actually Thousand Oaks where we’ll celebrate Thanksgiving) It’s going to be in the 80’s! I don’t remember the last time I celebrated Thanksgiving in warm weather. Quite a change from the east coast days.
I hope each of you get a chance to take some much needed time off this week to be with family and friends. If you are traveling, wishing you safe travels to your final destination.
Sometimes, it just takes a strappy sundress and a messy ponytail to get ready for a day out in the sun. We are still getting plenty of sunshine here in Silicon Valley and I plan to treasure each and every moment! Hope you had a great weekend and got a chance to recharge for the week.
I hope you all had a great weekend. I’ve been trying to get back into shape (for an upcoming trip) so I spent most of my weekend outdoors, running and hitting the gym. Lucky for me, this California weather makes it easy to get out and stay active!
This spring weather has gotten me reaching for lighter pieces of clothing. I recently bought these chino pants from Banana Republic and they have been my go-to pants during the week. They are super comfortable and a nice change to my skinny jeans. I added some leopard accents to pump up the neutral colors. What do you think?
Have a great start to your week and thanks for reading! xoxo
I like to change up my daily work wardrobe with either statement jewelry or a unique handbag. This week I decided to work both into my work style: a jewel tone statement necklace and a structured handbag in a buttery, nutty color. As we all dream of warmer, colorful spring weather…why not, right? 🙂
Here’s to a great day! Hope you’re having a good week so far.
