I didn’t think flared jeans would ever become popular again (for me), but these Paige Denim jeans are proving me wrong. I love the soft touch of the fabric and its deep indigo blue color. Ironically these jeans are bootcut, not (officially) flared, but I love the look! Paired with a simple white button down and some sky-high wedges, these jeans exude a cool sophistication AND make your legs look miles long.
Definitely looking forward to casual Fridays even more!

Happy Monday! Hope you all had a good weekend. This was casual Sunday wear this past weekend. I recently bought a pair of Gap 1969 legging skimmer jeans in pale blue and this pair is my go-to when I’m off-duty from work. Not all skinny jeans are easy to get into and may not even fit right, but this one is fairly soft and fits like a glove. The light wash is perfect for spring weather and goes with just about everything in my closet. I also did not need to get the jeans hemmed, which is definitely a plus!

How cute are these paisley shorts? J. Crew is having a sale on shorts (and tees) so I had to snatch up a pair! I know it’s hard to think about shorts in some parts of the country (winter storm in progress in the east coast??), but we had one nice day earlier this week so I decided to go for it and wear these shorts out. I love how the gray crystals in the necklace just compliments the entire outfit.
For those of you reading from the storm-affected areas, be safe and keep warm! Thanks for stopping by!

I had such a fun, long weekend that it is hard to get back to the daily grind! As I mentioned in a previous post, I threw two dinner parties this past weekend and had an amazing time hosting, eating, and laughing with all my friends. Such good times. Yesterday, I spent the afternoon at a winery in Saratoga, CA, called Savannah-Chanelle Vineyards. I am a beginning wine enthusiast and love to drink wine, so I was definitely in heaven tasting all the different whites and reds. My favorite bottle was the 2009 Pinot Noir from the Sonoma Coast. So deliciously fruity, with a deep dark purple color and a smokey background. Some of the grapes from Savannah-Chanelle have been planted since 1917!
These are some pictures I took from the wine trip…the mustard yellow and bright bag was a nice punch of color against the vineyard. Enjoy and thanks for stopping by!
