This has to be one of my favorite dresses this season.  From the navy blue and teal tones, to the checkered print, to the flirty mini cut – I love everything about the dress.  I just love the zipper detail on the skirt as well.  Once I get my hands on some over-the-knee boots, would love to pair the two together.

This week is just flying by so quickly…already half-way done!  Hope you’re having a good one!

Zara Checked Dress with Zips / Sam Edelman booties (past season, loving this pair from this season) / Lauren Merkin Ava Clutch / BCBG Ring (geometric one here) / Earrings from a boutique in Italy / Prada sunglasses

Color Pop: Mustard and Purple

Rain and cloudy days have been going and going and going these last couple of weeks.  I decided to brighten up my weekend with some pops of color.  This mustard yellow blazer paired well with some dark denim and a leopard belt.  Cropped and tailored, it definitely gives this outfit a hint of sophistication.  For a holiday choral concert, I wore some royal purple opague tights, my trusty Christmas sweater, and a pair of dusty colored booties.  Kept me warm throughout the evening!

Jacket / Leopard Belt (sold out, but similar here)/ Tights / Purse (different color here) / Boots (loving this version)

ImageImageHappy Monday everyone!  I’m sharing with you some outfits I wore recently for a dinner and for a fun Sunday shopping for home decor.

Top:

I recently added these Pour La Victoire heels to the repertoire and love wearing them.  Classic cool in black, they are just the right height to amplify a simple skirt.  Also, I am loving this buttery, warm Botkier purse.  It is the perfect accompaniment for a fall outfit.

Bottom:

I added to the daily mix this BCBG Edie Duffle Bag.  Great color and functionality means I can use it for both work and play!  It also comes in kelly green, dusty saffron, and color-blocked styles.  It is a favorite in my rotation right now.  This weekend I scored this  vintage jewelry bust from a flea market.  The black and cream makes it very French, no?

Any new additions to your wardrobe or accessories closet these days?
