Depending on where you work and what you do, the dress code may be more limiting or you may get to wear whatever you want.  As a consultant, the rule of thumb is to dress one level above your client.  For me, that usually means a sheath dress (easy breezy) or trousers and a nice top.  One way I like to punch up the formal factor in my work wear is with a blazer.  The common colors are black, navy and gray.  I’m loving all three of these for a creative kick.  Which one speaks to you?
