I think it’s safe to say that you can’t own too many pairs of shoes. From pointy toe flats to the highest of heels, there’s always a reason to add another pair to the closet. I recently discovered a new company that’s bringing hand-made, beautiful Italian shoes at reachable price points to the masses – M. Gemi. Have you heard of it?
I have to say I do like many of the styles I see on their website. All of M. Gemi’s shoes are designed and made in Italy. The brand shares new styles every week (in limited quantities) and sells directly to customers, thus allowing for lower prices than other luxury shoe brands. M. Gemi is going for fast fashion — but, where trendy meets luxury. I’m intrigued and just signed up to receive their weekly ‘editions’. No purchases yet, but I will share the experience when I do!

Happy Monday! Today I’m sharing some photos we took during our day trip to the Amalfi Coast in Southern Italy. The last photo above is truly a perfect postcard scene…calm blue waters, warm sunny sky, and the gorgeous Italian Riviera as a backdrop. I highly recommend a trip to the Amalfi Coast if you haven’t been and definitely take the bus ride down from Sorrento (or Positano) – both dizzying and breathtaking!
J.Crew Printed Linen Tee (like this one) / J.Crew Chino Shorts (on sale!) / Madewell Transport Tote / Tory Burch Flip-flops / Ray-Ban sunglasses / MIchael Kors bracelet / Rope bracelet (bought at local market in Italy)
Hello! I know my posts have been few and far between while I’m in Europe so thank you to my readers for being patient with me!
Quick update from abroad…if you’ve been following me on Instagram you’ll know that I’ve left France for a few days now. We had an amazing four days in Rome, despite the 95+ degree weather (oh, who’s complaining?). 😉
The Colosseum, Roman Forum, Spanish Steps, etc., everything was breathtaking and full of rich history. The best part has to be the carbs and wine. I can do an entire post on the food we ate in Rome. It has been non-stop pasta eating for days!
I’m currently in Sorrento, soaking up some sun rays and I can’t wait for our day trips to Amalfi Coast and Capri coming up.
Some photos from this week:
