One way to refresh your wardrobe this spring is with a pair of white jeans. They absolutely go with everything…tees, button-downs, blazers. I found this pair of Current Elliott jeans on The Outnet the other day and I have been wearing them non-stop. The best part is the stretchy material…allowing me to get in and out easily. I will definitely be wearing this pair into summer.
I was on my way to the coffee shop here–after a very full weekend of birthday celebrations for the hubby. From grabbing dinner and drinks in downtown San Francisco to throwing a mexican-themed party, I was quite the party planner this weekend!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Please share in the comments below what your closet staple is this spring! xoxo
Jeans – Current Elliott / Shirt – J.Crew (spring version) / Bag – Loeffler Randall / Shoes – Zara (past season, new version here) / Cuff – Stella and Dot / Lips – Bite Beauty in Quince
Given the high temps we’ve been having, I couldn’t help but pull out some shorts to wear this week. Sweaters, move over!
I’m currently in Denver (yep, for the third time this year) for a work trip and will be staying to the weekend to hang out with my nieces and one nephew. Four of them live in the Denver area so it will be fun to see them this time and spoil them a little. Hope you are having a great week so far!
Vince t-shirt / Parker NY Jacket (loving this one – it’s a set!) / J.Crew shorts / Loeffler Randall flats (eyeing this pair) / Prada sunglasses
I know I’ve been MIA lately, but work has been taking up all my time these days! Here is an outfit inspiration for Spring built from some of my favorite brands!
We’ve finally been getting some rain here in Northern California, but I can’t complain (compared to snowy East Coast). With all the new Spring lines coming out and NYFW happening soon, I can still dream of spring-time wardrobe additions, right?
Hope you’re having a great week!
Emerson Fry Shirt Hem Dress / Kate Spade Oh La La Large Bella Pouch / Loeffler Randall Charlotte D’Orsay Pumps
Happy December! (Crazy, right?)
I took a much needed break from work and the blog this past long weekend. It felt refreshing to disconnect from email and the laptop and spend some quality time with family and friends. There definitely was a lot of eating going on this weekend. How was your Thanksgiving? I hope it was full of good food, love and laughter.
On Saturday, one of hubby’s friends joined us on a wine tasting trip down to Santa Cruz. We visited three wineries and our first stop was David Bruce Winery (seen in these photos as the backdrop). The other wineries we visited were Loma Prieta and Cinnabar Winery. We had an amazing time drinking wine and learning about pairing wine and food. As expected, I bought several bottles to take home!
I hope you have a great Monday and a wonderful week! Thanks for visiting. xoxo
J.Crew Sweater (loving this one) / J.Crew Matchstick Jeans / Old Navy Tank Top / Rachel Roy Pumps (another black and white pair, on sale) / Loeffler Randall Rider Bag in Maroon / Prada sunglasses
It’s already shaping up to be another busy week! Working with a black, gray and white palette makes dressing super simple in the mornings. Off to go grab a much-needed coffee before I start my day! xoxo
Rebecca Taylor Tweed Chain Jacket / Joe’s Jeans Coated Ankle Skinny Jeans / Tank top (old) / Loeffler Randall Maroon Rider Bag / Chanel Silver Cap-Toe wedges / YSL Rouge Pur Couture Lipstick #8
A blue leather jacket is a great way to add a fun twist to an all-black outfit. I’ve been wearing a lot of black lately so I added a punch of color with my leather jacket and Jean-Michel Cazabat Emma pumps. As I mentioned in my previous post, I am in love with my new Rider bag. Maroon is a beautiful color and perfect for autumn.
In other news, I survived my first camping trip this past weekend! We didn’t take too many pictures as it was a “no-technology” kind of weekend. Cell phones were turned off. Although I was hesitant at first, I am glad I went on this trip with my friends. Sitting around the campfire, grilling our meals, sharing stories and laughs, sleeping in the middle of the woods…it really reminds you how lucky we all are to have our everyday luxuries (like heat and hot water!).
How was your weekend? Here’s to a brand new week and a happy Monday!
Gianfranco Ferre Leather Jacket (old, similar version and under $100) / Express Tank Top (past season, love this one, on sale) / Bloomingdale’s Black Zippered Leggings (old, similar here) / Jean-Michel Cazabat Emma Pumps / Loeffler Randall Rider Bag / Prada sunglasses
Happy Friday! Can’t believe we are on the first of November already. I am loving this season’s plum/wine/oxblood color and recently purchased this amazing Loeffler Randall Rider bag. It just arrived yesterday and as you can see, I am already in love!
I am heading out to Big Sur tonight for my first camping trip. Very excited, but a little scared at the same time. We’ll see how this weekend goes. Check back soon for an update on my trip.
Have a great weekend! xoxo

Happy Friday! It’s been cool and crisp these last few days in the Bay Area, providing the perfect weather for outdoorsy activities like hiking or apple picking. I’ll be heading to Vegas tomorrow for a quick trip to celebrate a friend’s milestone birthday. What are you up to this weekend?

The color-of-the-moment? I am loving everything maroon, like this J.Crew ensemble featuring this herringbone topcoat. I’m also bringing back a dark lip with YSL’s Rouge Pur Couture lipstick.
If you’re keeping it low-key this weekend, how about cozying up with some hot cocoa and this metallic knit throw from Pottery Barn? I have one and it’s super soft!
I’m still working on my to-do list from this post and trying to master a few soups this season. This coconut curry pumpkin soup looks delish…and makes a great starter for an autumn dinner party.
Hope you have a fantastic weekend! xoxo
