Happy Monday!  Apologize for the brief hiatus here on the blog. Last week turned out to be super busy.

One big change over the weekend…I cut my hair!  I decided to chop it all off and go with an angled bob.  I’ve been feeling very refreshed and not to mention, washing my hair has been a cinch.  What do you think, good move?

Today, I’m wearing some new items.  I bought this Marc by Marc Jacobs blazer over the weekend and am so enamored with the bright red.  The contrasting purple lapel makes the blazer even more interesting.  Blazers are really a girl’s best friend.  Dress it up for work and then throw on some jeans before heading to dinner.

I’m also wearing a beautiful Timex watch, the Intelligent Quartz Fly-Back Chronograph.  It’s made with a stainless steel case, leather strap, and is just the perfect combo of sporty and sophisticated.  The bright, feminine blazer really balances out the more masculine watch.  Love it!

I hope you have a great start to the week!  Thanks for stopping by!  xoxo

I’m heading off to Mexico tomorrow for the next few days!  It’s an impromptu getaway
(read: we literally bought the tickets earlier this week).  The only items on my wishlist
are plenty of pool time and tropical drinks with umbrellas.  Not asking too much, right?
Hope this outfit inspires you to jump on a beach vacation for yourself! Thanks for reading!

Don’t Skirt the Issue

Darling Tiered Sequin Skater Skirt

I’ve been on a skirt kick lately and have found that a patterned or embellished skirt makes dressing in the morning so easy.  Pair the skirt with a solid tank top or simple sweater and you’re done. The best skirts go from work to happy hour to dinner and serve multiple engagements, especially during this time of year.  The skirts I’ve featured here can be found at ASOS (us.asos.com) or at my wardrobe (www.my-wardrobe.com, an online luxury fashion boutique from the UK).

Here are a few I would love to get my hands on.
