How was everyone’s Cyber Monday shopping yesterday? Any good deals or steals?
All the sales can certainly be overwhelming, but one ‘rule’ of thumb is…you can’t go wrong with black and white! This color combo will always stay timeless and classy. Plus, it’s a great base palate to add color to – add a pop of color in your shoes, handbag, or jewelry. If you ever get stumped as to what to wear in the morning, look to these two colors.
Happy shopping as we head into gift-giving season! xoxo

Drove up to San Francisco this past weekend for a casual brunch with my classmates from graduate school (what’s up University of Chicago!). Took these photos while I was waiting to pick up some coffee from Philz Coffee. Can you tell it was a windy day?
Hope you had a great weekend. Happy Monday!

Is it corny to celebrate your one-year anniversary of moving into a new home? Well, the hubby and I did this week! Can’t believe it has been one year since we moved into our quaint little townhouse community, Fusion. To celebrate, we went to a semi-fancy restaurant called John Bentley in Redwood City (may I just say that the food was amazing!).
So much has happened since a year ago: buying the house, buying large pieces of furniture to fill the house, starting this blog (!), taking on a new job, going on a month-long honeymoon to Europe, being a part of my best friend’s wedding and seeing her marry the man of her dreams…the list goes on.
My outfit here would be what you call a “desk-to-dinner” ensemble. During the day I wore the same outfit but with wedge sandals and a laptop bag. After work, I slipped on some heels and made a quick change to my Botkier bag. Et voila! The anchor of this outfit is in the jeans. I recently bought this pair of Hudson jeans and I’m still floored at how soft and comfy they are! Sealed the deal for me.

So I have been thinking about what direction to push my blog towards going forward. It looks like most of my readers and followers enjoy the fashion posts, particularly of unique finds and trends. I’ve decided to start posting more of my own clothes and share how I style/accessorize these outfits. In the meantime, here are some recent instagram snapshots of what I’ve been up to and my wardrobe highlights!
