I found the perfect lace and sheer white tee at Ann Taylor. It’s lightweight and chic at the same time, perfect for this heatwave we’ve been experiencing in the Bay Area. I wore the top with these patterned shorts during a Hawaiian luau last week. And another favorite of late? These super cool sandals! Who doesn’t love a good crisscrossing strappy sandal? Get ready to see these gems paired multiple times on the blog. 🙂

Finally getting around to sharing more photos from Hawaii. I think J.Crew does a great job with their patterned shorts. When shorts are made from great material and feel luxe, why not take them for a tropical night out?
The weather here in the Bay Area has been very warm this week. In order to battle the heat, I’ve been pulling out more dresses and skirts to wear to work. Hint of summer? Yes, please!
Have a great Tuesday! xoxo

I’ve never met a striped skirt (or shirt for that matter) I didn’t like. This beautiful skirt from Banana Republic is so simple yet striking at the same time. The tan stripes really pop especially when we’re used to seeing navy or black stripes. I love playing with patterns and went for a totally different pattern for my shirt, but still keeping to the same color family. It’s a bit of mixing the old with the new here…what do you think?
I hope it is sunny and spring-like wherever you are this week…happy Thursday! xoxo

One way to refresh your wardrobe this spring is with a pair of white jeans. They absolutely go with everything…tees, button-downs, blazers. I found this pair of Current Elliott jeans on The Outnet the other day and I have been wearing them non-stop. The best part is the stretchy material…allowing me to get in and out easily. I will definitely be wearing this pair into summer.
I was on my way to the coffee shop here–after a very full weekend of birthday celebrations for the hubby. From grabbing dinner and drinks in downtown San Francisco to throwing a mexican-themed party, I was quite the party planner this weekend!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Please share in the comments below what your closet staple is this spring! xoxo

Happy Monday – hope you had a great first-of-spring weekend! This was the outfit I wore to a pizza and game night on Saturday. I kept it super casual with a white tee and jeans and added a pop of color with my new scarf. San Francisco nights can get chilly so the scarf kept me warm all night. The pizza and wine were good, but unfortunately, my team didn’t win any of the two games we played!
On another game note, are any of you following March Madness? How many upsets did we see these last couple of days?! It’s been crazy and my bracket is hanging on by a thread.
Have a great start to your week! xoxo

I can’t believe we are on the last few days of February…how times flies! Has anyone started vacation planning for the spring and summer? One more thing to add to the to-do list!
I am all about navy blue right now. It’s such a great color to mix and match with and lets me take a break from the standard black/gray/white winter color combo. This dress and blazer together are perfect for work, but I can also wear the dress alone for a more fancy night out. Love!
